Modules

Solen balcony railings with solar panels module consists of two 4 mm thick tempered glass and cells laminated between them. Modules are placed into the seals of aluminium column.

Cells

The cell in one of the most important components in the system. The cells layout and colour is possible to choose. In addition, bifacial cells can be selected to increase the productivity of the solar panel. Bifacial cells are particularly effective for use on roof terraces.

Columns and handrails

Balcony railing columns and handrail are made of aluminium and powder coated according to the customers desired RAL colour.

You can choose between two mounting solutions – side or top mounted.

WEATHER RESISTANT

The environmental pollution class is C4 – resistance in coastal and industrial areas with high air pollution.
Cabling and connectors are hidden inside the handrail. The modules are protected from the weather from the top and sides.

 

PROLONGED

The estimated useful life of the product is 25 years. After 25 years the productivity of the modules will decrease 20%.

Safety

Solen balcony railings with solar panels complies with the railing requirements. Balcony railings with solar panels have completed and passed Electrical Shock Hazard test by Kiwa according to standard EN IEC 61730-2:2018.

In addition, the load-bearing tests have been performed on the balcony railing posts at Tallinn University of Technology and the glass-to-glass modules have been tested with a pendulum test. The manufacturer declares in a declaration of conformity, that the product complies with the directives of the European Union.

BIM models

Solen has developed BIM objects from its products that engineers and architects can easily load into their software and use in design. BIM objects are compiled for both Revit and Archicad platforms.
